Floor with modified sub elements uniform thickness

When creating a floor or roof by modifying its sub elements, the thickness of the slab isn't uniform, as seen here:

Also Revit gives a warning: "Thickness of this Floor may be slightly inaccurate due to extreme Shape Editing."

Is it possible to achieve uniform slab thickness with basic floors/roofs using modify sub elements? Or do I have to use model in place, or mass hosted slabs, which isn't preferable?

Use a floor with a slope arrow.

Roof by Extrusion.

While this works for single sloped floors. But for more complex shapes, "modify sub elements" is needed.

What about just making the floor thicker (e.g. 2 layers w/base Variable)?  Top layer would be the "keeper", so to speak.
