Missing templates in Revit 2018

Are you saying you can't IMPORT CAD or LINK CAD (via Insert Tab)?

Are you trying to open AutoCAD files in Revit? You won't be able to open a .DWG extension into Revit only those files are openable in Revit = RTE, RVT, RFA and RFT files. As mentioned by @barthbradley, either you import or Link cad into Revit. Thanks

Also if you are just missing the template list on the revit home screen you can add them back there by using the instructions on this page:

Hi all, 

I have encountered a problem where I could not find Architectural template file in Revit 2018.  I have downloaded the Australia version Revit and ENU Imperial and metric template files. Is there any solution for this?

Another problem is the "wall" library has been missing in my template. What should I do?No Architectural template can be found

default.rte is the default Architectural.
