Missing 'half tone' keyboard shortcut

In Revit 2025, it seems the ability to half tone and element using a keyboard shortcut has been removed or is broken. It doesn't seem to be in the list of keyboard shortcuts any more. Seems an odd thing to have been removed deliberately.

Need it back ASAP!

Are you referring to Override Graphics in View:Override By Element? I have a keyboard shortcut for that in Revit 2024 (EOD), if that's missing you can assign it again yourself.

This is a screenshot from Revit 2024 showing the shortcut I'm referring to highlighted in yellow.

This is completely missing in Revit 2025 and I cant find it under any other name.

Its to useful just for it to be removed!

Ah...it's EOH in the stock keyboard shortcuts. I'll have to check as soon as 2025 finishes getting installed.

I finally got 2025 to install... yes, I no longer see as many options associated with "Override" in Keyboard Shortcuts in 2025. Oversight or intentional I do not know. There is no "path" provided either in the dialog for those listed at the bottom of the 2024 dialog. I thought it might be from an add-in like pyRevit but those have a path entry. Revit 2023, 2022 & 2020 have them. They are not among the list of keyboard shortcuts list at Autodesk.

Hi eddieDJL7E--

Thank you for reporting this.  We cleaned out some Revit keyboard shortcuts that were no longer are connected to any commands and it seems that the two halftone ones accidentally got swept up with them.  We'll endeavor to get these back in ASAP!

Thanks again!

They did it!

Keyboard Shortcuts

Restored two keyboard shortcuts (EOH and VOH) that can be used for element and category halftone overrides.

Hey all, have this been rectified? I have 2025.3 and still can't assign any shortcut to Half Tone.

Cheers

it's Revit 2025.4 and they still didn't do anything about it. Good job Autodesk! I will probably sound like Dolore Umbridge right now, but "Progress for the sake of Progress must be discouraged" 🤣
Is there a QA team intake? I want to volunteer just to try out your work skin=)

@phoenix-unfo

At home, I currently have Revit 2025.2 installed, and the EOH shortcut is there.  I can try upgrading to 2025.4 to see if that makes a difference.
