Hey
Is it not possible to make a template for a material takeoff in Revit? So I don't have to create a material takeoff every single time I make a new model, but I just can use a template on every models.

You can add the material takeoff to your Project Template. As a matter of fact, you can add all the Schedules / Takeoffs / Legends / Sheets you need to your template. This will get a lot of legwork that you will not need to do on a repetitive basis and ensures consistency over projects.
Create a new Schedule - in the Project Browser, right click on New Material Takeoff. Add the parameters that you would like to show.
Click on R>>SaveAs>>Template.
It will save with the RTE file extension. You will need to open a new project with it, and then save as a Project .RVT.
This template will be available for you to use and re-use as needed. You can also set up any repetitive tasks like titleblocks etc in your template.
Thank you so much
Right now I have made a template of a material takeoff located in "Project Browser"-->"Schedules/Quantities".. Next, I create a new project and the template is gone at the location. I seek on the internet and found the link below, but it doesn't work because I don't know how to place it on a sheet.

Firstly, you need to tell Revit where to find the Template
R>>Options>>File Locations
Click on the green +. Navigate to the location where you have saved your RTE. Select it.
Then
R>>New>>Project
Revit will bring up a box that shows your template. Click OK
well getting started the basics please
how is the material in schedule connected to the model design like quantities or length of wall one story is different wall expenses ,?
