help me find my family... we were separated at the border....
I dont understand why the families are there in some of my projects, but not in others??
Did you update Revit and/or Windows? Did you move the materials folder? Do you have multiple versions of Revit open at the same time? You can always try to restart your computer, in some cases that works.
What version / build of Revit are you using? There have been a lot of changes from 2017-2019.
The yellow triangles and ! in the materials list may indicate that the material assets are missing or need to be upgraded.
Have you upgraded a project from pre-2018 to 2019 by chance?

Those are good ideas....
But let's see....
I havent updated Revit lately...
I havent updated windows
Only using one version of Revit....
I dont always reboot, but when I do.... doesnt seem to change... I noticed last week as I was creating a model, that my library was empty, with the caution symbol... Then later in the week, working on a different project, the libraries were there... now today... they are gone again.. It may be the way I start a new project, by opening a previous project, and re-saving with a new name... Could be that the original file that has no library is just a corrupted file from some time that I had misplaced the library... I'll check it out...
Check:

Blame it on Trump.
Joking aside, this issue was posted about recently and the OP was able to resolve it by doing a Repair.
the OP??? is that an elected postion?
OP= "Original Post-er"
Any luck? As Barth said, try a Repair of the Revit Install.
Sometimes material libraries need to be re-installed.
thank you on the OP definition... LOL... i was SMH.
I will try the repair thing this week...
