Matching Room Colour To Schedule

Hi, We have set up a conditional format so that rooms can be identified visually in the schedule if they are over/under a required area.  Is there anyway to have a layout matching this so its easier to see whereabouts on the plans these over/under rooms actually are?  It would also assist flagging up any changes in model room size that then meet or do not meet the criteria.

if you turn on the Room Interior Fill from the views Visibility/Graphics overrides, you can create a view filter that should do that.

then apply the filter to the view settings and set the Pattern color as needed.

Thanks but that doesn't seem to work as you cannot assign a parameter into the box where you have 100SF.  It has to be an amount or a formula starting with =.

Our schedule is set up so the Area Under or Area Over columns only display a colour if the difference between a parameter Area is different to the parameter SOA Target Area.  The Area Over and Area Under parameters are only set up in the Schedule Properties as a field.

Ya.... unfortunately you cant have a formula in a Filter that I know of.

Maybe a Dynamo script?

Can't you get there with a Color Scheme Definition that uses Room Area  by Range? Something like this:

Those don't work either, sorry.  All they do is look at one parameter when what we need is a the outcome of a calculation which is only set up in the schedule.  If we could get the calculated column to appear in the colour scheme filter then we might stand a chance but it doesn't show.  Possibly got someone seeing if its is achievable via Dynamo but he says it isn't automatic, we would need to re-run the script everytime the layout got changed and thats prone to being forgotten about.  Aarrggh
