Mass In Place- Divided Surface

Hi there!

I'm trying to make a Herringbone pattern for floor slab. I'm not using .PAT pattern because I can't seem to make it visible in Navisworks

It seems the lines are visible if its from divided surface of Mass In Place.

Is there a way to create a custom shape for Divided surface?

I was thinking of creating one family as the brick and insert it into the divided surface.

Thanks!

I managed to do this by using the Rectangle Divided Surface
But how do I make it so that the mass in place follows a topography surface?

Export the Toposurface to DWG and then insert the DWG into an In-Place Massing environment.  Might work. Might not.  Depends on how triangulated the surface is.

Too triangulated, sadly.
Any other recommendations of ways to model the pavement with Herringbone pattern?

Create a floor or roof for your pavement.  Assign a material with the surface pattern to it.  Export it to 3d DWG and link it back in an in place family in a 3d view ( or uncheck current view only).
