Missing revit 2023 sample project and family templates

I downloaded revit 2023 and the en-US content package but when I open up the application, the sample project is blank like in the photo. When I try to open new model or family, there is no project template and only the content library is visible. Please help!

What you are showing in your screenshot is the Recent Files Window - not the Project Window/Views,  Press that arrow button in the upper left corner.
