my mass isn't letting me void it.

the mass itself is inside a big project and in it i know where exactly i need the void. inside the mass file, i don't know because there's no indication.

is it possible to somehow import a floor from the big project into the mass fam?

A void and a solid must be in the same mass in order for them to interact.

In your case, you can export the project's floor to a CAD or SAT file and import it in the Mass so you know where to create the void.

System Families into a Mass Family? No, not directly.  You might be able to get there by Exporting the System Families in the Project to DWG, and then inserting the DWG into the Mass.
