How can we manage revisions in Revit? We have more than 800 revisions in our project. Please note that we use revision per sheet option.

Please reply as soon as possible.

Great! Then how many of the 800 revisions do you need to show in the
schedule?

I have the same problem, how can I downsize my Revison? so I only can see the 5 lates revision on my sheets instead of all the old revions I made.

I know you can show "Current Revision" with the help of "Title block", so that the update version only show on the sheets.

Would be great if somebody could help me with this problem, been searching everywhere how to solve it.

The revision schedule can be set to only show a fixed number of rows. You can open the OOTB title block, edit the revision schedule, look at the Appearance tab, and see how it was setup.

Open the title block family, select the revision schedule header, or open it from the browser.

Hi @Anonymous

  • You can track your revisions from the view tab, sheet composition panel and selecting the sheets issues/ revisions menu.
  • Click on the revision schedule in a title block to display a revision schedule on a sheet.
  • If your sheet view includes revision clouds, the revision schedule automatically displays information on revisions.
  • You control these attributes of the revision schedule by modifying the title block family.
  • You can also got to the manage tab - click on additional settings and in the drop down select sheet issues/ revisions to view the same.
