I am looking for best practices for linking a model with exterior elevations and section views into multiple host models using the same views for each model.
I am creating a Revit Model with multiple single, duplex, and triplex housing units for a low-income development area. I am using scope boxes for each of these units. The intent was to submit all these housing units in one project file, as we will be using the same wall sections and details for each unit. We are at 90% complete, and the city inspectors stated we could not issue these housing units in one plan set. Each unit needs to have separate submissions. This means separate cover sheets, details, sections..etc. I am using the current model as a "master" plan and linking this project into separate host projects. I am using a live building and wall sections and exterior elevations. Can I link these live views into a host model? I would like to change items once and not need to go into each project to change an item in the wall sections for example. Or does anybody have a better solution to do this? I know I cannot create multiple sheet A101, for example, in one project file. Just checking to see if anyone else has done something similar.
Thank you
