Linked data from Autocad - display error

Hello,

I am adding some additional regions to my survey .DWG. As you can see, i have created a single joined polyline for the outline of the road (selected in the image):

Now here's that same polyline linked in Revit:

Now i can easily close the gap in revit, but this will cause problems for me shortly when I offset the road polyline to create curb and sidewalk polylines in ACAD.

I cannot account for that gap, which has me stumped. any ideas how to correct?

You know, I was able to fix this by extruding the profile and selecting the edges in Revit of the 3D solid. But still weird that it was displaying incorrectly, IMO.
