LINK IFC Button grey - Revit 2020

Hello all,

I can't find this information anywhere it seems - but when I open Revit 2020, the "Link IFC" button is greyed out.

Any ideas how to link an IFC file?

Thought it may be a template issue....but I tried everything but the construction template and I have the IFC link.

Construction template was deleted...that template should never be used.

Weird. Try Linking through Manage Links dialog box.

I downloaded the latest hotfix and the problem went away. Weird.

My Revit was in viewer mode....I had to shut it off and restart it.
