Like instances not grouping in schedule

With itemize every instance checked:

without itemize checked:

obviously i am trying to show the total for each material

Itemize does the trick with normal walls but for some reason it doesn't work with parts

Almost worked, except i'm not getting sums for the Charcoal and Glacier White..

Format tab, set Area to Calculate Totals.
