Keynotes legend not updating from key notes text file

As the title say the keynotes legend is not updating when changing the notes on the text file:

-Tried to link it to another textfile from a different project but nothing changes.

-Re-did the legend but is not working

-Copied the text file, changed the name and re-linked it but nothing chnages.

Note: I can tag all the notes just fine and all show correctly on plans.

PS: didn't work on the project for a month...just re-opened today...revised the notes on the text file...but is not updating them on the plans.

Any suggestions on what I'm doing wrong?

Not sure which version of Revit you are using or if it is up to date (I thought this was a bug in the past which was fixed)...and it has been a few years since I have placed a keynote myself but try to change the cut plane in the plan view up and above the tagged elements, open relevant sheets to refresh  then re-lower the cut plane of the view.

This should refresh the Key Notes on Plans and force them to update

the new notes will load when you reload the .txt. file, you just have to actually add the notes on some view so they will actually show up on the legend

I'm experiencing the same/similar issue. Reloading keynote file doesn't refresh keynote legend on some sheets.
