Joist issue

Hi, the joists in this photo are not supposed to run all the way to the end of the room, but instead stop at the raised floor level. Underneath you can faintly see a staircase that is also supposed to connect the bottom floor to the raised floor. How do I cut the joists at a certain point?REVIT ISSUE JOISTS.JPG

If you are not using Revit LT:

For the second question, do the joists with a beam system. In the sketch, include the opening for the stair. For the first question, select the beam system; then in the properties, apply an offset to move all the beams to the desired elevation.
