  • If you mean if it is possible to detail sections in revit, the answer is yes.
  • If you mean that you have that section modeled in a different CAD software and you want to bring/import it into Revit...the answer is also Yes

I would elaborate but I'm just not sure what exactly is being sectioned  in the image you posted.

@RDAOU  Thank you so much for your swift reply.

I need to take a section to see what things are on all walls (5 wall elements in that image). Is it possible to do that with one section?

In principle, yes. Section in Revit reflect the components placed in the model...If all the components are there, then your section would look just as you expect it to look like 🙂

Taking the image you posted as an example:

  1. Walls in Revit have layered structure so yes you would be able to see all those layers in 1 sections
  2. The Studs you have at the corner, these would be a separate element(s)/component(s). EIther 3D components or 2D components.
    • If you have placed 3D components in the model, they will show in the sections automatically
    • If you have used 2D components in the plan view to represent the studs, then these will not show in the section (2D components are view specific so you would need to detail these again in section)
  3. The arrows which you have there...These can be a Line Based detail items placed on the section

You can split segments a section line to create the jog around the walls like what you show.

You cannot do that with one section line (to show 5 walls)...

  • You can use the section(s) showing the 3 front walls (single or multiple)
  • Place the lateral sections and Overlay on sheet in a way to show it unwrapped

Read previous reply...you cannot unwrap in revit...you need to place several sections and the Overlay on the sheet

@RDAOU  Thats awesome. This is what we expected from Revit.
Can you please send screen record of initial steps of how you created section lines & merged it together (some more detail) on sheet?

Your answer will be our solution which is very important now.

I can share with you the Revit file for you to look into it...

(PS: have to admit I used dynamo to align crop region of each section to Reference planes but you do not need that, it can be done manually)

See attached .rvt

That sounded like a conditional statement!!! The purpose of this forum is to help other who are putting effort from there end ... not do the exercise from A to Z. You are the one on payroll ...

So you do not need to accept solution here. And if you decide to post your dynamo question as a new thread, I might consider helping if I sense that you have tried to put some effort or do some research but not able to get something to work

@RDAOU  Thanks for your great support !

My apologies for being wrong in your view. I would not like to put conditional statement.

I asked about dynamo because , i am not familiar in dynamo, And its needed in short time.
