I'm attaching my Revit model for reference.

A fellow classmate sent me a file with all the buildings and topography for our project site, however they are very new to Revit and sent over a model that has everything modeled as a generic model. The topography is slightly incorrect in some places and I would like to adjust it, however Revit is not allowing me to adjust the generic model, which it's calling rebar cover. The alternative could be making it into a toposurface and adjusting the points, however it's been time consuming and not productive because the points are not going where they need to. Is there a simple way to accomplish what I'm trying to do?

Export Generic Model to DWG and import DWG back into Revit and then create Topo by Import Instance.
