Is there a way to export basic view (plan-section-3D views,...) in a IFC

Hi Everybody,

I try to export an IFC that contains every view that I can find ( or that I have created) from the treeview of REVIT.

The main goal is to open my IFC with others soft such as Solibri, and be able to find all my standard views, instead of just having a global 3D view.

Thank you a lot in advance for your advices.

I am quite sure this will not work on ifc, but you can achieve same thing if you open native Revit file using Navisworks Manage - not sure if that fits your needs though

Hi @gregory.hilger

I see that you are a new visitor. Welcome to the Autodesk community!Smiley Happy

  • If you want the IFC to open in Solibri - then this functionality of Solibri Model Viewer is arranged in different Views. See HERE for more information.
  • For exporting Revit models to Navisworks see HERE
  • See screencast HERE for IFC export
