Is there a way to change feet to meters 1:1?

So I installed Revit 2020 on my new pc and started working on a new project without changing imperial system to metric. Basically the whole model is roughly 3 times smaller than it should be, because everything is in feet instead of meters. Is there any way to change feet to meters without scaling everything down? Incredibly stupid rookie mistake, hope somebody has an answer.

That sounds incredibly odd.  We model at 1:1 scale in Revit.  Are you not modeling 1:1 scale?     

Project Units should be all you need to change. Also, load Metric Content.  You can use Transfer Project Standards to transfer all the content from a Metric Template into your Project by simply starting a new project using a Metric Template and then switch over to your Project and use TPS to transfer content from the Metric Project to your Project.

No, I see what he did: for a wall that was supposed to be 10 meters long, he entered 10.00, which Revit correctly understood as 10 feet. (Was he not paying attention to temporary dimensions, etc.? The apparently huge components? The super-fat walls?) Changing Project Units to feet-and-inches leaves the wall the same physical length, which is 3.048m.

The only solution I see is scaling what will scale by 3.2808..., but that is pretty much limited to system families, since components won't scale and the scale tool will be greyed out if they are selected.

Probably best to re-do the model from scratch correctly if it is of any complexity. Revit isn't AutoCAD.
