shared parameter image type

Good morning smart people.

I created a Title block like a parametric family, the same title block can be a project cover sheet, structural plans cover sheet, mechanical plans cover sheet, or just a blank sheet for different disciplines.

I have 3 clients, general contractors, they want their logos into my title block for their projects.

I want to keep my folder clean by having only 1 file for 17 x 22 title block instead of having 3 different ones containing logos for each contractor.

So, I created a shared parameter -image type-, so that I can choose in my project information schedule the image of my client. so, as soon as I load family into my project, image does not show up, it displays name of image file:

any sugestions please?

thank you and stay safe out there :zwinkerndes_Gesicht:

"So, I created a shared parameter -image type-, so that I can choose in my project information schedule the image of my client."

I think there is some more to the workflow than just this.  Isn't there?  How's this parameter control Titleblock logos/visibility?

... I don't think it's possible.  But, you could put the Schedule/Image on the Sheet with the Titleblock - minus all the Schedule's text and line work of course.

Try this file see if that is what you want. Unzip them in a folder.

I'm not making jokes. I was being sincere. I did not understand post.

Now, it sounds like you did not understand mine?  What I suggested was to put your "Image" Shared Parameter on a Sheet Schedule and then putting the Sheet Schedule  on the Sheet.  Do you understand?

@barthbradley  ok sorry for the misunderstanding. I don't know how to put my "Image" Shared Parameter on a Sheet Schedule and then putting the Sheet Schedule  on the Sheet.  yes, I understand but I don't know how to make this. :leicht_lächelndes_Gesicht:

1. Create Image Type Project Parameter and assign it to Sheets.

2. Create a Sheet List Schedule and add this Parameter from the list of available fields into the Schedule.

3. Go to Appearance Tab and uncheck all the boxes.

4. Drag this Sheet List to a Sheet

5. Find the Image Type Project Parameter name in the Sheet Properties and assign an image to it by clicking on 3 dots in the value field to open the Manage Images dialog box.  As soon as you do this, the Image will appear on the Sheet.

Screw my approach. @ToanDN 's is the only way to go.  I should have thought of that.

@ToanDN  Good morning thank you for your idea. I primarily accepted @barthbradley 's answer like a solution but I had to copy and paste the logo everywhere I needed. @barthbradley  has came up several helpful ideas to develop my knowledge and thanks to him.

@ToanDN I will accept your response as final solution. it allows me to play with different logos from my clients and create additional labels to play also with my logos.

Thank you both for your commitment, God bless you all
