Is it possible to make this railing into one piece?

So I have managed to make this railing out of three different parts, but then unfortunatley they cant share the same Type Mark right?

The problem for me when I make it in one piece is that the corners break the pattern. If I try to incorporate "custom-made" corners inside the pattern they make a turn before the edge. Wish I could have many patterns in the same railing!

What are we supposed to notice in that screenshot? Railing looks pretty darn good from here.  

...also, different Types can share the same Type Mark, so I'm not clear why you can't.

Of course they can share the same type mark.

Yes it looks good but I had to create 3 segments with different types; left, right and middle side. To make all the patterns right.

I'm sick from work right now so I can't show you the error message I get 😞

Railing looks amazing! I agree with the others, you should be able to share the same type mark. Are you wanting it to show as a system with one tag all together? 

Feel better and keep us updated when you are able to.

So I'm finally back to work now and can see that the error message I get when using the same Type Mark for different railings is: 

"Elements have duplicate 'Mark' values"

But, I can just click OK and the Type Mark stands, som maybe this isn't a big issue?
