Insert section detail in one floor plan or elevation view only

Is it possible to insert a cross section in the current floor plan or elevation view only?

towards the end of a design when detailing and I think I might just add that little section as it relates to that view - obviously it turns up in all the floor plans and I only want the annotation cut to be visible in one

I know it be technically exist in the others I just don't want to go through hiding it in the others

Easiest way is to create new phase and then you add your section in your floor plan and elevation without interfere with previous phase plan and elevation.

thanks for response

just wondering if this is the only way as I'm not keen to use phases as my phase system is pretty set in its ways due to my specific drawing requirements?

Your other option is to create new type and add in filter where if the section type is not this new type you would hide them.

Other way you can use is to set other section not show in certain scale of the drawing.

thanks, yep aware of the scales, in this case I would be putting it into a framing plan for example in that view so its going to appear in all 1:100 floor plans. I will have a look at the type and filter process see if that works

thanks

In that case, would a callout work?

Start callout but before you start to sketch change the type to "Detail", in type selector. Floor plan callouts are visible in all views, but detail callouts by default are visible only in view in which they're created.

Perfect thanks, that's what I was looking for!

now I just have to amend the ridiculously big tags on the detail!

cheers
