Has anyone had accuracy issue in Revit?

GegH1_0-1755222555761.png

I have a column sitting on a floor. the corners are meant to sit on top of each other, blue dot on the red dot.

I have snaped to end point when zoomed out, as i zoom in you notice they aren't sitting on each other.

Not only that, when i select the column the blue lines appear indicating the object is in a third location.

This inaccuracy causes an issue when working with groups and assemblies as you end up with floors or columns overlapping, this is when Revit decides to be accurate and warns you.

Hi Yousif

It's on it. The internal Origin point is within the structure, nothing further than 20m

Does this issue also occur in Acad if you were to export this view as a DWG?
Revit graphics are not as good as Acad's, but let's verify. Maybe your graphics drivers need an update, or hardware acceleration is off.

Do you have any DWG files linked into the project? If so did you get a warning about the file's extents or any other complaint when linking/importing it?

What is the column family? Stock content or something someone else made? Structural columns (stock) use Detail Level so you might find subtle differences in Coarse, Medium and Fine where the stick symbol (Coarse) vs basic profile (Medium) and actual profile (fine) are used.

Share a copy of the file with just the elements involved so we can poke at it?
