IFC batch files using Dynamo [HELP]

Hello everybody,

I've got some questions on using Dynamo for making IFC files from my revit file.

I'm working on a project wich uses multiple files for a residental area created in revit. Toghether they form one project. Since there is lots of different housing we have about 15 different .rvt files. From all these revit files i use 3 vieuws for exporting IFC files.

This means that i have to open all the 15 files, export 3 vieuws and move on to the next one (once a week since they use "BIM"). Since the project is large scale you can assume it takes a long time.

Ive been looking on the net for possible ways to make the process faster. I've stumbeld on this:

https://forum.dynamobim.com/t/batch-export-from-revit-to-ifc/20119/2

But i cant seem to get it to work...

I hope you guys have any tips! Or the same problem/maybe know of a youtube vid. that does something somewhat similar for other files (like DWG) wich would mean i would have to tweak it a little.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

a workaround to this is to create a Master Revit project and link all the Revit files in. Then you can export IFC using the "export linked files as separate IFC".
