I'm not sure what to call this

I have this issue periodically. Sometimes the field will dislocate from the menu and float somewhere off the menu or in the menu away from where it was originally hosted. I can still scroll up and down (to an extent) and get contextual response back while typing. If it's a long menu I'll lose the ability to see what I've scrolled to and I have to guess. It's only a real problem when I am drawing details and I need to convert line types from cad imports.  This has followed me through Revit 2019 to 2022. It only happens on my work laptop, even if I'm working on the same project from home. I have no plugins installed or anything odd on this pc.

If I move my properties panel it helps for a time but eventually, the problem always returns. Restarting the PC fixes the problem. I haven't tried reinstalling Revit... everything else works and this isn't a big enough of a problem to start deleting stuff.

The guy that used this PC before me never had this problem. It has to be something I did.

Any ideas or better search terms would be appreciated!

P.S. I can't replicate this problem it seemly happens at random. Below is the best pic I'm going to get for a bit.

Set Windows Display Scaling to 100% would fix it but you know the consequences.

You guys do not mess around, I'll try both of those suggestions when I get into the office tomorrow.
