How to spot elevation on topo in section view

Hi !  is there any way to annotate the elevation of specific points of topography in section view? The is many changes in elevation of the topo in my current project, so I need to annotate the elevation of slope in the section view for clear presentation. However, it seems that i can't spot elevation on topo in section view.  Sorry for my bad english.

So, anyone? I can't be the only one with this problem?

Thanks!

How about Spot Elevations in 3D View Oriented to Section View?

...or export Toposurface to DWG, and Insert DWG back into Mass.

There is no option to placed in spot elevation with topo drawing. To overcome this, I draw small horizontal detail line and placed it close to topo and then have spot elevation tag to the detail line. Once you have one spot elevation setup, you can copy both the detail line and spot to topographic profile.

Spot Elevations in true Section View referencing Mass Form created from DWG Export of Toposurface...

Spot Elev in Section 2.png

1. Export to DWG the Toposurface

2. Start In-Place Mass and Insert the DWG.  Finish. Mass Form Created.

3. In Plan View, Place a Named Ref. Plane on top of the Section Cut

4. Go to Section View and Set Current Work Plane to the Named Ref. Plane created in #3.

5. Unhide Mass in View and Place Spot Elevations on Mass intersecting at Work Plane. Use TAB-Select as necessary.

TIP: Set Far Clip to 1/32" temporarily.
