Is there a way to save a view in revit directly to the drafting view directly . I export the view in 2d cadd format and then import it back to the drafting view again and i found this cumbersome . Is here a way to directly import the view in drafting view without having to export and then import it

Why are wanting to save a Revit view as a drafting view? Can you explain why you want to make a drafting vs using a section, callout, etc...?

It's kind of a workaround for me because i wanted a specific view that was perfect but when i change the other elements that view also changes and i have to adjust all over again . I just wanted to save that particular view wihout the later changes affecting it

Search for freeze drawing tool for refit. It is for older versions but might just work for current one.
