how to offset a filled region

Hi use Revit LT.

I want to offset the property line with a red outline around the property .

I edit the property line and copy the (complex shaped) lines

then start a detail line or filled region and copy the lines in the same place

but when I want to offset this new line in edit mode, if you tab the lines, only a part of the

full outline is selected. with the offset tool I can not select all lines

how do you do that?

thanks

Stefan

perhaps the lines are not completely connected so the Tab function only grabs the lines that are connected end to end...?

I concur with @dzanta . Another thing to check is see if any lines are overlapping or if a line is drawn on top of another longer line. This might not be obvious since (I think) with property lines you would be able to finish the sketch if property lines overlap.

Are you saying that when you Finish Sketch Mode, the hatch fill does not adjust to meet the revised sketched boundary?
