HOW TO get imported dwg to show in plan view

what shoud i do if my elevations show but when i click on a level plan view the drawing disappears

also how do i get imported dwg to show under the floor level view selected , i have changed view range settings but no dwg showing as underlay

When link a DWG, untick Current view only so the DWG can show in multiple plans of the level. Check the view VGO and turn on Imported categories.

Huh? You see your CAD in Elevations?  2D CAD?  You must have Linked it into an Elevation View with Orient to View checked.  If Current View Only was not checked when you Linked it in, then I'm betting the 2D CAD is in the Plan View -  but not oriented to the View.
