...have to see the file, but maybe a void sweep pathed along the edge would clean it up.

You need to smooth out those transition from one spline to another of the mass.
Instead of trying to fix it, I would just redo it. Create the Solid and Void Mass Host from Surfaces of the two existing Masses, close out and use Roof by Face instead of Wall by Face.
