I want to buy a laptop with 16gb ram and Nvidia 2060 RTX, but I don't know if that is enough for Dynamo. I've heard that dynamo tends to crash, or freeze, or close revit when it operates heavy commands. I know that the best is 32gb ram but I cannot buy a laptop with that capacity on the DELL website because I'm not located in USA. I found another version of the laptop I want on Amazon but the technical specifications are lowered to 16gb ram and 2060 RTX. Should I buy the 16gb ram laptop?..  Note unfortunately the ram is not upgradable.

It's not about Dynamo; it's about what Dynamo is doing.  16mb is fine.

If you use Dynamo for generative design on a heavy/freeform revit model then it needs more RAM. If it is just for routine scripts such as read/write parameters, not involving modeling then 16GB is okay.

Yes I was thinking something like automatizing stuff, and shortening commands. I've heard that dynamo really helps with command shortcuts. For 3d modelling do you refer to something like Frank Gehry or Zaha Hadid style you say(or maybe a big stadium) or just any kind of building? I feel like if I get better using Revit I might try some wild designs, but right know I'm just sticking to rational architecture. I would like to tell you the laptop brand I'm getting but I feel I'm going to get criticized for picking a gamer laptop, but it is i7 9generation for sure.

A gaming laptop normally has good CPU, a fast videocard, and a good screen,
but not enough RAM (games don't need it).
