How can you put wall layers on different phases?

(Kind of goes along with my last few posts for those that had been following...)

Let's say you want to demo the finish off of any existing wall and add a new finish.

Would you need to model the wall structure and put on existing phase, then model existing finish and put on demo phase, then model new finish and put on new construction phase?

you cant... that is a case where you would need to draw a main wall (existing) and then a second wall (the finish), back to back. OR if your only refinishing it, unless the new finish is dramatically different thickness, just tag it with a note.
