How can i override the numerical value of a dimension text

I sometimes want to override the values of dimension texts with some other values ( which may be  useful in some cases due to inaccuracy of recorded site plan datas with real world values. In which i may have to show the recorded values rather than the  real site values) . Is there a way to do it without having to use the text command and replacing it manually??

It’s only manual as i know

double click on the dims text and override it Or use suffix  or prefix

also there is an option called alternative dims in type prop maybe useful for you

thanks for the answer but double clicking on the dim text wont allow you to change it numerically , it allows only replacing with letters. Alternative dims only shows alternative units

Insert a Unicode Character first and then the new Dimension value.
