How can i make a project parameter only exist in one type of furniture?

I have a furniture parameter named Desk User..

However, I only want this parameter to work in certain types of furniture for example the desks workers will use. How can I make this project parameter only exist in these types of furniture

Add the parameter to the family, not to the project.
