How can I keep Navisworks texture images when importing as NWD into Revit?

I have found a few tutorials on how to export an InfraWorks site, open it in NavisWorks and export that as an NWD file to then add as a Coordination Model in Revit. I am happy with the topography and buildings shown in Revit, but the texture file (most importantly the 'google map' texture on the topography) did not come through from NavisWorks.
Is there a way to bring that image in and 'paint' it over the topography (I already tried the actual paint command and it did not let me select the Coordination Model)? Or is there an easier way to import this site model into Revit that will allow me to have the site image still?
I originally tried to take the InfraWorks site into FormIt and then take that into Revit as an imported CAD file, which semi-worked but there were several holes in the topography and it still did not give me a texture/image of the site.
My ultimate goal is to just have an accurate site model with adjacent buildings and topography without having to model each of the buildings or site on my own. I've gotten this far with importing and exporting and I feel like there has to be a way to include the map image shown in InfraWorks and NavisWorks...
