Horizontal Shape Handles on Windows

Hello Autodesk-Community,

is it possible to get horizontal shape handles on windows?

I created a generic window family and set the parameter width and height to instance. I only have the shape handle for the horizontal dimension in my project.

I am working on this family for fast, exact and instance-based as-built-modelling.

For the reference planes that make the handles, verify that the "Is Reference" value is any other than "Not a Reference".

The value is "weak reference".

I have a similar Problems with doors. There i only have horizontal shape handles and no vertikal shape handles. Is is a "catagory issue"?

The Problem was the view. You only can Change dimensions with shape handles, when your view is parallel to these axis. My wall wasn´t in a 90° angle, so i only was able to Change the vertikal.
