Id set my stairs to go to first floor. The result is it sets the riser just short.
my first floor is the subfloor, i need the rise to go up so that the tread will be flush with the finish floor.
When I try to modify the stair to be first floor +1" it sets the top of the stair like 6" below.
What is going on here, do I need to redraw the stairs?
If you want to eliminate the top riser then Edit Stair > Select the Run > Untick End with Riser.
If you want to add a top tread aligning with the floor finish keep then edit the Stair in a plan view, click the Run, drag the Blue Dot at top and drag it toward the floor to add one more step.
I want the top tread to align with my floor finish, but I don't model my floor
finish, I want my top of first floor to be plywood,
think Revit by default leaves an inch gap at the top of the riser for finish, but I don't want it to do this.
to remedy this I am trying to make stair top level - first floor + 1" top offset, but Revit doesn't like this and/or
it DROPS the height of the stair...
is there a way to disallow that gap?
It should go to whatever elevation you set. I can show you when I get to the computer.
