Extrusion doesn't follow the path in Massing

Hi,

I am trying to create a curved path so that I can extrude a round extrusion. For some reason when I create a solid (after selecting the circle profile and the path) it just does a straight line!

It did create a curved line one time, don't know how, but now I can't get it to work. The curved line is hosed on a reference line since I want to be able to control the angle.

Attached are 2 pictures that better show the problem.

Thank you!

it looks like instead of a Sweep you 've created a Loft using to circles placed on points 1 and 3...(see min 1.34 of my screencast )

Hi @constantin.stroescu ,

Thank you for the video. Unfortunately it isn't working. I attached another picture. I just want to create a form from the 2 "triangular" shapes and the path that connects them.

How would I go about doing that since it is just not working.

p.s. adding another picture. I want to have this form follow a curved path (slightly curved).

The two "triangular shapes don't reside in the same plane. So maybe my question would be, how to create a form that links 2 profiles (closed or open) with a line that has a curve and is not just straight.

Also, I don't want to create profiles and host them at the end of the paths, since I want to have the ends of it be at a particular angle and not just perpendicular to the path.

Thank you, I appreciate your time!

make a Loft and then use a Profile and Edit it as shown in the screencast:

@constantin.stroescu ,

Thank you!

I don't know why you can't just add the path s you have more control, but I guess it does the trick.

another method by using Loft - 3 Lofts on your path..

another way to do the Form by using Profiles perpendicular to the Path:
