Extend Roof Eave

So, I don't know how exactly to search for this, but I want to extend the eave on a portion of my roof so it goes further out and lower than the adjacent eave.

As you can see, I made it with two separate roof pieces, but thats not especially neat. I tried doing it as one where I lower the eave height, but I am still left with a weird seam.

Is there an easier way to do this that I'm missing?

You can do that roof as one roof by defining only one edge as the slope edge on that one side, or you can add an extended eave using the Roof By Extrusion method.
