Export to IFC

I have Revit 2024 and have installed IFC.24.2 but the export to IFC icon is greyed out and I can't select it.

Has anyone else had/solved this issue?

Can i check you are Looking to create an IFC of a Model/Project and not of a Family?

Ah, you can't export a family? I'll try inserting it and exporting from there

Not to an IFC, but if you insert it in an empty project/model you can.
