Hi!
The ifc-standard defines two diffrent attributes for the geometric data Width and Height.
OverallWidth=Overall measure of the width, it reflects the X Dimension of a bounding box, enclosing the door opening.
Width (BaseQuantities)=Outer width of the door lining.
OverallHeight=Overall measure of the height, it reflects the Z Dimension of a bounding box, enclosing the door opening.
Height (BaseQuantities)=Outer height of the door lining.
So...is it anyway to define both the dimensions of the door lining and the opening in the wall for a door in Revit and export it according to the ifc-standard?
When I look in the ifc-file i can see that Revit exports the OverallHeight/Width=Height/Width (BaseQuantities).
So, this is not according to the ifc-standard but perhaps it depends on the missing parameters for the dimension of the door lining in Revit...
Anyone that have a clue about this?
