Empty Revit 2023 AEC Material folder

Hi

I was trying to create my own fence and when I tried changing the material, there was nothing to select/load. I am not sure what is wrong, I've tried relocating the file but all the folders are empty. I am not sure how to troubleshoot this either. Please help 🙃

Just create new Material and apply what Surface/Cut Pattern and Color you want to it under the Graphic Tab. Then go to the Appearance Tab and switch Asset from Generic to another one in your Asset Browser (if you want).

Transfer Project Standards to bring in materials and assets from another project or template.

Or are you trying to add pre-made materials? Open the AEC Folder and add one from there.

I doubt that very seriously.  Open the folder. AEC Materials.
