edit view title

Hi,

I want to modify view titles achieving the following changes:

  • remove the sheet ref while keeping the title text (both the shape and the indication)
  • add text before the scale (for ex, scale 1:50 instead of 1:50)
  • center both texts, both the title and the scaleScreenshot 2024-07-15 130543.png

Hi @katsanosengineer

You need to edit the family of the View Reference Annotation. Select it from the Project Browser, under Annotation Symbols and right click on "M_View_Title" and select Edit.

Delete the elements that you don't want and move the labels to a position that is centered (this can be tricky because you won't have any references), set the Horizontal Align for Center in both labels.

For the View Scale label, edit it and add a prefix according to what you want.

Save the family to your computer with a custom name and Load into Project.

Go to one of your sheets, select the Viewport and click Edit Type. For the Title select the family that you saved.

This is the final result!

Hope it helps!
