Drawings on the sheet moved when printing as a single PDF file : GRID GUIDE

I have found the strange behavior on printing when I printed several sheets ,which also had GRID GUIDE, as a single PDF.

As I deleted or make the Grid within full page of a sheet, the problem was solved.

Did anyone had same problem?

Thank you for your posting @ysautodesklover

This seems similar to your issue:

Please try the workaround, and see if this works.

Thank you for your comment, however I meant not Grids but GRID GUIDE for aligning views on sheet causes trouble when I printed sheets.

I attached some images on my comment so I hope you understand what I am trying to say.

Your two pdf sheets appear to have different border widths and/or different page sizes. Hard to tell for sure from the picture.

Check the properties of both pages in the pdf file and confirm whether they are the same page size or not. If they are the same size, has one Revit Sheet been printed with a different Zoom value than the other?

Accepted solution

make your guide grids smaller

when the guide grid exceeds the sheet size it will cause your issue

see image

I select the outer edge of my guide grid and adjust the grips to suit my needs then I move the view to a designated intersection (inside the circle)

Dear chrisplyler

As I attached the single PDF file, it has certainly different sizes on the two sheets.

If I print as tow separated sheets, it won`t happen.

Thank you,

Yuki

Dear kadmonkee,

This is a workaround which my colleague found too or I might just delete  after making sure the sheets are in right positions.

Thank you very much!

no need to delete the guide grids you can turn them off in the properties of the sheet

they will never print.
