drawing

Is there a way to merge line thickness? Sometimes when a filled region (drawn with pen 1) is over the contour of a filled region (drawn with pen 4), it blocks a part of the pen 4 lineweight.
What I would like is that the thicker line is always in front of the thinner line. Can this be done?

I was half-kidding around with you, but I know what you mean.  Not much you can do can really about it. Draw Order helps in some cases, but mostly not.  Best remedy is to look at the whole forest and not at the bark beetles on the trees.
