Can you be a little more specific?

Those grey tone are not area tags.  Are they Areas or Rooms?

Are you using an Area color scheme? Change its location to background, not foreground.

Open the view and look at its Properties, you see Color Scheme Location under Graphics?  Change it to Background.

Do all the walls overlap the color? Change to Hidden Line Visual Style to verify. If so, then "Background" is set and working as it should.  Is this not what you were looking for?

- Make sure the view is Hidden, Not Wireframe
- Make sure the model Categories (walls, columns, etc...) have no Transparency under Projection/Surface Transparency column
