Draw Beam Underneath Slab

Hello everyone

How can I draw a beam underneath a slab without the need to draw level additionally on the desired height?

Change Z Offset Value.

When ever I would change the slab thickness, I would have to change the offset value for every beam on every floor. It's a lot of mannual work.

Any other way?

You could associate all the Z Offsets Values to one Global Parameter.

Make sure Z Justification is set to "Top".

If you have a level already for the slab just use the same level and them you can also change your Start Level Offset and End level offset to a negative number. Ex. Slab is at Level 10'-0" and the thickness id 5" you beam is going o be at -5" at the seat level and end level offset. Select all visible in view and change them at ht ew same time.

Another added beneficial step could be to create a Beam System, so all your beams move together.
