Door Frame Setback

I have a 4 panel sliding door (2 panels to slide each direction) that will stack beyond the opening--duel parallel track at top. Is there a way to get the attached family to offset/setback so that the doors appear at the face of the wall in plan? Currently they appear in the opening but I want them to exist outside the opening. My entire opening will be clear of door panels. Thank you.

you have to create some extra parameters of offset.....anyway , the family  has to be reworked....I've made a quick example ...it has still to be verified...(Revit2017 version)

The easiest way is create the panels as another  family, nested in the door family, then you can create a single parameter to constrain the setback distance very easily.

Here is a quick example sing your door as the nested family.

Thank you. I will try these options and see what works best. I am still learning how to create door and window families.
