As soon as I drag a plan region edge, Revit starts "generating graphics". I want to disable this during dragging, so it will only regenerate the view on release of the mouse button. The reason I want this, real time regeneration slows down performance and makes exact placement of the edge difficult. Is this possible at all?

Have you tried the view navigation performance on the options?

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.

Which Revit version are you using? I am using 2017 at this moment. The simplify option is not in my interface.

When doing any editing of a plan region it is best to edit the boundary instead of using the grips.

I can place Sketch boundary accurately and quickly using the Align (AL) tool. You cannot? Is this on on-going issue? Happening in all projects?
